What should I wear to my maternity Photoshoot?

I know you are already finding it hard to find everyday clothes that you love and now I’m asking you to think about a dress!

Selecting the right outfit for your maternity shoot is important. Most woman choose one or two gowns for their maternity shoot. I recommend choosing something that really celebrates your pregnancy & growing bump for your individual portraits. If you are including some images with your partner & children I recommend also selecting a more causal outfit that compliments your family.

We are so lucky in New Zealand to have a number of companies that make & stock beautiful dresses. Some of which you will find in our studio. Many clients however choose to either purchase or hire something unique for their portraits. Here is a list of suggested rentals & shops.

Below are some of the dresses we have available in the studio. As well as whats listed below we also have a collection of fabrics that can be wrapped around you to create a more shapely look, this is really popular in our fine art studio images. Another beautiful look is lingerie with a Kimono or Jeans.
