I’m Jenna, Mama of three. I am a nature lover & obsessed with the colour green. Creating authentic beautiful portraits of children is my ultimate. I take my job pretty seriously and I hope my work always brings my clients back to all the feels and joys of motherhood.

Why is a family Portrait so important?

My life experiences have lead me to believe a family portrait is like a visual insurance policy. At a deeper level it can document the unique relationships that make up your family. I cannot tell you how much comfort my own family portraits have bought to me after the unexpected passings of my sister in 2006 & husband in 2022. My children have images that take them right back to how their dad looked at them..

The Dress (Canon)

I was so excited to be involved in this project. Our brief was a simple one…

What happens when you send one wedding dress, to four photographers, across two countries, with an open brief to create one shot?

The images were then unveiled at an event in Wellington NZ, during NZIPP InFocus conference 2017. All four photographers of us hadn’t seen each other’s image until the big reveal. We had to chat about our images, which for me was terrifying as I’m much better at imagery than words.. But it turns out after a couple of glasses of wine I have lots to say. :D
