Evening Sessions
I LOVE daylight Saving... Why? it means family portraiture during the gorgeous golden hour is actually realistic... Booking an evening session ensures awesome soft beautifully diffused light, I am now taking bookings for evening shoots starting at 5pm perfect time to grab an early dinner on the beach in Paihia followed by some Ice Cream.... The following is just a silly little series of my own kiddies munching down some chips on the beach... not really making the most of the gorgeous light but they were being little monkeys!!!

Megan & Dave... Little Peek

A little Princess
On Saturday I popped up to Kaitaia with the family to photograph this beautiful little girl on her 17th day on the planet. I haven't photographed in someone's home since we opened the studio in August, thankfully Renee had a great big sliding door which let in loads of natural light. Absolutely loving the crown shots, I have had these in the studio for a while, but don't get to photograph enough newborns to put them to good use. Once again huge thank-you to Jalnena from Cmonkeydoo for all the hats & crows, love your work.NOW for something super exciting... I will launch this properly next week... BUT we now have a BUMPS - BABIES program + a WATCH ME GROW - my first year photography program... Check it out here
So precious... now I better go sort out my little one (20 months) who has just decided she is a newborn again at 1am!!! ARRRGH!

Taylor came into the studio with three friends to ROCK their BALL FROCK again... I think she looks quite nice...
I had a couple of emails from photographers asking what sort of fan we used to blow hair. I have found that your average household fan doesn't quite have sufficient power to blow the hair enough, plus its quite hard to get in the right direction.. We just use a hairdryer, if you only have two arms you will need an assistant :+)

Lovely Lauren, I'm so in love with her eyes and the image of her mummy staring at her while Hayley does her makeup.. awwww. We also snapped a few of Lauren with her mum I will have to convince her to let me share them - very cute.

Cassie came into the studio with three of her friends for chocolate, hair & makeup and of course photos. We started off at the studio before venturing out to Rollands Woods... Loving the results.
